This page is devoted to Criticisms + Solutions, which assess CrimRxiv’s performance and suggest how to improve it. The hardest problems to solve are the ones you don’t see. The best solutions are often hidden. Ignoring problems is not an effective way to solve them. Nor is squashing dialogue. We need to open it up. Anyone can write a criticism. We publicly respond to each published criticism. We put our response as a “Comment” at the bottom of the criticism’s page. Anyone can write a comment or reply to one. All comments and replies should (dis)agree with the initial criticism, elaborate on or refine the problem, do the same with solutions, and/or suggest alternatives. Upon submission of a criticism (but not a comment or reply), you will receive a confirmation email followed, within a few days, by a decision letter (accept or decline).
