Bio | Nadine Deslauriers-Varin is an Associate professor of criminology at the School of Social work and Criminology at Université Laval, in Québec city, Canada. She is a researcher at the Centre International de Criminologie Comparée (CICC), a Regional champion of the International Investigative Interviewing Research Group (iIIRG), and a collaborator for the Canadian Society of Evidence Based Policing (CAN-SEBP). Her research interests largely look at sexual and violent crimes, criminal investigations and investigative techniques, situational crime prevention, persistent offenders and serial offending, and offender’s decision-making and crime scripts. Most of her research projects are carried out in collaboration with police agencies from across Canada.
